Speakers

I'm looking into changing out my speakers I don't need anything crazy but do enjoy turning up the radio when I hear a good song. I was told to keep my stock radio and was wondering what is a good option for speaker!

I replaced my factory Shaker 500 speakers with Pioneer TS-D6802 R. The highs are so much better and when i feel rocky i run them 2 lines away from max volume, still perfect and clear

Will I need to change anything else out? Also does it make sense to keep the stereo they said it fits better instead of having to have a housing installed to just leave it stock? Thanks to all suggestions to I know what I want to do with my car but am not real good with this kind of stuff so I'm glad to have ya all here lol!!!

If you have SYNC or anything like that it's best just to swap out the speakers rather then getting a new stero unit. Unless you want to sacriface SYNC.

I know this is an older thread, but you can change out the entire shaker system and not lose sync, metra has everything you need.

Go with JL C5s,full combo with tweeters, highs and mids with a JX360 amplifier, den get one 10"W7 subwoofer with a HD750,and changing the head unit is always recommended since aftermarket ofer more options and they just sound better even when keeping stock speakers...This is what i got in my car and it sounds awsome!!!!!!!!
