shift **** stuck, how best to go about removal?

The shift **** is frozen on my car, I can't loosen it (I've tried by hand to the point of blistering my palms, I've applied mild heat, I've tried oil filter band type wrenches, and people with more bicept).

Its a boss 302 ****, and I was trying to remove it to install a redline goods shifter boot.

My next thought is to take the larger belt from those wrenches, wrap the **** and grab it with channel locks (which I don't have laying around, but will get ).

Once its off, I'll be sure to use some anti-seize for its reinstall. I hope I don't have to destroy it.

resolved. Combination strap wrench, 12" channel locks, and 10" vise grips, dead blow hammer and lots of bicep.

Maybe wrap it wistful a towel or some sort of rubber before using some sort of vice clamp and maybe a pipe as a extension for leverage
