Shift Knob Difference
Shift **** Difference
Not sure if anyone else has noticed this. I was looking through some interior pictures of the 2013 GT and noticed a difference on the shift boot from the 2012 GT. The 2013 doesn't look as flush as the 2012. Not sure if there's a point to it or if Ford will have it changed by production time. Here's a picture of each.

It looks like the 2012 has a satin/chrome ring under the shift **** to make it look flush with the shift boot whereas the 2013 doesn't have a ring under the ****. Like I said, maybe Ford will fix this.

Is that the same shift **** I had in my 08? Good god I cant believe theyre still using that thing, its hideous. Looks el cheapo. Would look a ton better even if they used the same shape but wrapped it in black.
I think the satin ring is present. The shifter is in a different position and the lighting is a little different. I am not too wild about the shifter either. However, some probably love it. I prefer a round aluminum ball for a shift ****.

Those cars are all put together.. the one in that pic also has the old front seat headrests that were changed last year.
