Seat Fitment from 2010-2014 GT/Shelby
Seat Fitment from 2010-2014 GT/Shelby
Does anyone know if the seats from a 2010 GT500 will fit in a 2014. I am referring to the tracks and all. I am able to get complete from and rear seats out of a 2010 GT500 with seat tracks as well as the complete rear seat but I haven't been able to find much on fitment. Some places say yes some say only 2011 and up will fit. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
Everything I have been reading states that they will fit GT and V6 cars when your buying just the covers .....now you have me wondering if I HAVE to get the entire seat. I guess I'm going to have to do more Internet hunting . Thank you for the response .
I'm pretty sure the biggest difference is the headrests, they are completely different between the 2010 and 2014.
As far as the rest of the seats go in regards to just replacing the seat covers the back seats should work except you will lose the headrests in the back seat and you may notice the bottom of the back seat the leather will be a little loose. Also you may notice the front seat side bolsters might be a little loose but the bottoms of the seat should work just fine. Again this is all in regards to the seat covers.
If you are replacing the entire seat with the tracks and seat bottom and the covers already on, the whole nine yards, then there should be no issues with the front seats and the back seats should bolt right up just fine with no issues but again the headrests in the front and back are different between 2010 and 2014.
Hope this clarifies!

If you swap the complete seat, you don't need to worry about the headrests. The bigger challenge is the different airbag connector from 2013-14 on. Without changing that, you won't have your side airbags as well as the passenger weight detection system working.
