Replaced my 2014 Stock Radio/Synch etc
I wasn't using synch for anything that cost. I bought a 2014 GT/CS Premium Convertible. No navigation.
My husband a few months later bought a 2014 GT/CS Premium Coupe (twin to mine) but he had the navigation. I decided we take trips in the convertible I didn't want to have my phone hanging down from the top charger so I could use Google Maps Navigation. So after alot of research - We bought a Pioneer 8100NEX - it is navigation/stereo/carplay/android play/I Phone Play/ and bought a Scosche install kit. Hired a professional installer (who did great by the way - looks factory and he did have problems he needed to work out) and I bought a back-up camera too. Love it! Don't have to deal with synch. Haven't had it long and am working on all the things I can do with it. The weather turned bad and had to put her back in the garage for awhile. Here are a few photos. Saved alot of money by buying the 2015 version of the Pioneer rather than the 2016.
You can change the lines it comes with to what you want - I have the red 1 foot and the green 3 feet.
Yes the whole thing was a bit pricey but I went through Crutchfield and they were great in helping my installer figure out the gliches. I have use of all my steering wheel controls. The mic was hidden where the synch mic was. The GPS where the GPS that came with the vehicle was. You have to use the mic image on the Pioneer to get voice control but you can answer phone calls from the steering wheel. He also did all my USB wiring to the console area so no hanging wires from the top charger, or across the shifting console when using my AndroidPlay. To me it was worth it. I plan on keeping this baby for a long time. I waited a lifetime to have my dream car. I will drive her till I can't anymore.

Looks good in there. Glad you got rid of the insufferable Sync system. I hate it myself, but can't spend the money to get rid of it yet. The only complaint I have about current aftermarket dash kits is that they all put the radio at the bottom. I would so love it it the radio was above the ac control, but you can't have everything I guess.
