05-09 leather seats
Hi guys, I found a set of OEM 05-09 leather car seats on Craigslist and wanted to buy them and put them in my 14 GT. The driver seat is powered and so is mine. Are there any installation issues that I will run into while having these installed? Like airbags or issues with the driver power seat. I would have a shop install and if it will be too expensive to have installed I might reconsider. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Very important: '05-07 first half would not have airbags. Not sure the inspection of the car would pass without all airbags working or not, and not sure the entire airbag system wouldn't be off because of the missing ones in the seats. So you need to be sure it's a later '07-09 seat with airbags.
I would be wondering if the '14 airbag system in those seats would be compatible with the '07-09 seats. There's a possibility that they are not, and that would need to be addressed.
As far as everything else, well, deenergizing the airbags by disconnecting the battery/pulling the fuse is definitely required, just to ensure you don't blow the bag off while pulling it, that'd hurt. And leaving the battery disconnected/fuse pulled until the new seat is in, same reason.
The brackets are the same, I think, so they'll otherwise bolt up in front.
Backs will as well, except they won't exactly fit the rest of the rear interior panels, so there's that.
Overall? I wouldn't do it. But that's just me. The other way 'round, sure, that's actually been done and works, but only because nobody cares when an '05 has a non functional airbag in a 14 seat.
