Removing stripes on GT500 seats

Very doubtful that anyone has tried this, but here we go. I would like to remove the Leather stripes off the back seat of a convertible seat.
I do not have the seat yet (still hunting ebay) curious to see if anyone has tried this.
Essentially I have all ready recovered the front seats -they look great. When I bought he full set ($200 on ebay) they were for a coupe. Now that the fronts are done I want to try and find a stripe-less rear vert seat. I can find several, but they all have the stripes.
I just need to de-stripe the top section. The bottom for the coupe can easily be made to fit the bottom vert foam.
Thanks CJ

A lot of interior work can be done like this for a lot less than buying new covers. Find a auto interior guy. I have this Hispanic guy in my town who does wonders to my car for like 60 dollars.

Thanks for the reply. But I need to match the front seats. 2/3rd of the work is done and just need to get the rear back done.
Since I have the odd-ball one year only 2010 I am kinda limited. For $250 I can buy the entire rear seat (cushions, covers etc) but cannot find a stripeless rear cover. I looked on fordparts.com and to buy new from ford is like $700 for the new rear back cover and foam.

could try and dye the striping to match the rest of the seats. And most custom upholstery shops could probably do them for cheaper

I'm going to see today if the local auto interior guy can make the 2 section coupe covers into one.
After I picked them up he quoted me $500 to install all 3 seats, I'm still thinking about buying the rear seat that on ebay and some how removing the stripe.
