Removing door panels
Hello all,
I have seen videos online showing how to remove the door panels, I have followed them and the panels are easy enough to remove (most of the way) My question is, how do you detach the cables from the interior door panels? does it require a special tool? I tried doing this by hand, got the cable detached from the door pull, but no matter what i tried, I could not detach the cable from the actual door panel.. it took quite some time to get the cable back in to the handle, not fun..I gave up and just put the door back together.
Any help would be appreciated, I want to fully remove the panels to modify them.
thanks!

want to completely remove them to be able to bring the panels into the house to properly apply sound deadening to them, better light, warmer, cleaner, etc..The JLT youtube video briefly mentions clips "you can't see" ill just have to pull them again and look

good call on the sound deadner. It really made my car nicer to take those long trips in. I didn't put and on the door panels tho just inside the door. Hmmmmm I should check mine out to see if there is any room to apply some to my panels. I was afraid it would be to thick and make the panel stick out.
