Rear Seat Delete...PICS

I took advantage of the monthly sale at AM.com and got this.
installed a rear seat delete kit today.....20 Min tops!

The Stock rear Leather seats weigh 33lbs with all hardware....
this seat delete weighed in at 8lbs, so a total of 25lbs lighter.

Its not real sturdy, but isnt supposed to be! I like it.
just thought Id share....

Very nice. I saw that, and was tempted to get that as well...I hate having people in the back seats. I know it probably doesn't hold much, but would it hold...say...a small person?

ok, to answer your question....Yes. But only slightly, and if you have an aftermarket exhaust or a nice stereo then it is not noticeable. The sound I hear coming form that area is a little rd noise and sound of the rear end, but nothing that is a deal breaker.

Does the vertical part pop off easily in case I need to haul my mountain bike?

That looks pretty good,

What prompted you to do that?

I know the back seat isn't too spacious, but in whatever case that maybe needing to have third or fourth passenger you just canceled it out. Unless the purpose for the car is different.

I think it looks great though, how about putting a large mustang symbol stretching across the back.

I did it mainly because the piece was on sale and I got it for a great price!
To be honest it is pretty temporary...
My daughter is too young to fit in the back cause she is still in a reverse facing car seat. By the end of the summer the rear seat will go back in. I have a few track days set (mar & Aug) afterwards it will be sold.

Ok understandable, I was thinking it was a forever kind of thing.
I like the idea, I think it's pretty cool. But I never know when a third party is gonna be coming. It'd be a great thing on a road trip. A 2nd trunk basically
