Has anyone tried to put the Recaro seat on a power seat base?

 

Someone did it, I think on here but possibly on ME, and it worked. It's one of the reasons I settled on getting the comfort/premier leather instead of Recaros, b/c I could buy a set later & bolt up a set with no track modifications. I figured I could switch them out for summer/track use and still have heated mirrors, plus heated seats in fall/winter. I have not done it myself yet b/c I'm still finishing suspension & appearance mods (while under warranty). I'll see if I can find the thread...

If I'm not mistaken I think someone did it on SVT forum.

I am also interested in doing this.
