Why the Barton and not the Steeda. I've been planning on the Steeda and I'm interested in the reason you chose the Barton.

40% throw reduction in the Barton vs. 20% in the steeda. There have been a few people on multiple forums who have gone from the steeda to the Barton after trying one.

I was thinking of getting the Barton Short Throw and was wondering if any of the adapters from Grabby Pony will fit the shifter? The site has a list of shift brands but Barton isn't listed. Thanks.

Both the standard 400a and 401a jam nuts fit. Just depends on what boot you have. The Barton shifter is the same thread pattern as the stock one.

Took me about a month to get mine too. It was worth the wait though. Much nicer in the hand than the old metal ****.

Ordered mine 2/21. Finally received it 3/24.

The anticipation made it all-the-sweeter when it finally arrived. Excellent piece & excellent quality.

I know have to be patient and at the end it will be all worth it but, hate when a company doesn't reply to my emails. Whatever, just hope it arrives before summer.

Here's a pic of mine. It's on a race red 2011 MCA. I got lucky he had one in stock in the color combo I wanted so it only took a little over 2 weeks to come in.
Sorry about the dark pic, but it's a black **** in an car with all black interior.

Glad you all are happy...

I was in contact with Grabberpony to have a shifter made with the GT/CS logo as shown...emailed back and forth, and although there were some delays on his part to respond, I was holding on because of all I have read on this and other forums about his work...

He finally got back to me and told me he couldn't do it due to copyright reasons...Not sure I understand, because I see he has done the 5.0, the running Mustang and the tri-bar Mustang...aren't they Ford copyrights?

I'm more than a little miffed because I now he would've gotten more orders from fellow GT/CS owners...so, anyway, no business from me...

I wondering if this has to do with the fact that Epco is now licensed to sell Ford stuff. Give them a call or send then an email I'm pretty sure they can do what you want. The good thing about going with Epco is that the logos and shift patterns are embedded instead of engraved. Of course they will do engraved if you ask. Also get the 2 1/8" size shift ****, you will love it
