new little project

I really like the ambient light kits they have out now. But because I bought a base, it cost too much to retro fit one in. So my solution it add a few of the rgb led strips under the dash and some in the center console. I think it looks out of place with just some LEDs mounted in the cup holder so this is what I came up with for that.

I had some scrap plexiglass that I cut out into 2 circles. One is 2 3/4 the other is 2 1/2. Then I cut out some plastic from the top of a tote and shaved them down a bit. Glued them to the tops of the plexi and this is how it turned out. I have not installed them just yet. Maybe tomorrow. I will later do a write up on the door pulls and map pockets when I get it done.

Thanks bones. Looks like I have to take it apart. It has a little light bleeding through one of the covers. Oh well not bad for 20 bucks.
