My Audio Upgrade
I did my own upgrade the past two days(sorry no pics). I put some JBL GTO 8629 in the front doors and a Kenwood Excelon KFC-X683C in the rear. I also put some Second Skin Damplifier pro(Dynamat type stuff) on both inner and outer door skins, inside the rear quarter panels, under the rear seat, the rear package tray and in the trunk. I also put some of their MLV(Luxury liner pro) in the doors, quarter panels and the package tray. The doors I couldn't cover with MLV at 100% due to the sub enclosure. The stuff is about 1/2 inch thick so the door panel wouldn't go back on.
Ths JBL's sound great, much improved over stock. The Kenwoods, Meh. I'm not sure if it's just because the rears are by default less powered than the front.
I chose the speakers without hearing them because they were 3 ohm impedance, closer to the stock 2 ohm than most others. I had heard Infinity Kappas locally and I thought the treble was a little harsh and just gambled on the other two. I would probably just go with 4 JBL's if I wanted to pull it all apart again, but I'll probably just leave the Kenwoods in.
The vibration damper and noise barrier(MLV) made a significant improvement with cabin noise. I would guesstimate it reduced cabin noise by half. But, you can still hear the 420 ponies when you want too.

Made a new amp rack out of a piece of wood and some grabber blue vinyl I had laying around.
It isn't much, but it's something and it's my own. Now to mount it so that it looks decent

I just did a bing search for Atrend AFG-FM12S and it came right up.

But I also added 2 10" subs in a rectangular box that fits inside the opening behind my rear seats.
I will take a picture of the trunk tomorrow after work.
Honestly, it's enough for what I need.
Saving space and adding bass!!
Undecided right now.
The single 12", which was 350 watts RMS with a 300 watt RMS amp was plenty of bass.
But I had To be stupid and purchase these subwoofers a few months back with the amp and box.
I won't get my money back if I sell anything and I can't return it to the store, so I'll run the 2 10" subs with the huge amp by themselves for a month or two, then probably switch back to the single 12" maybe during the spring.

The "adult" in me thinks I should save the trunk space, and run the single 12" in that box (which is Painted a stunning grabber blue I might add)
And pair it with the small add. Perfect bass but not going to beat the block down.
The "kid" in me want to run those 10" subs, and when I get away from the neighbourhood out on the main strip, just pound that **** until I get a headache.
The girlfriend gets super annoyed with that sort of thing. Maybe I'll end up selling it. Just seems like a shame/waste of money because I'll never get back 1/3 what I paid for that set-up
In only running those 2 10" subs right now. The other sub is just there for aesthetics and because I might switch to JUST that subwoofer to save space.
I need to clean up my wiring and re-route some if the wires so that it's a lot cleaner looking.

If the subs are wired in the same polarity and the enclosures are of the same type (sealed, ported, bandpass, etc.) you would be ok. I've done it several times before in my car audio prime days lol. But with today's woofers, a nice pair of tens or single 12 is enough with solid amplification.
