I have a '14 Mustang GT Convertible i ordered a bunch of stuff from American Muscle for the car and mostly every part i ordered i have some issues with including the Basic MMD Styling Bar, i have it installed and over the winter i didn't notice a problem but once spring warmed things up i dropped the top and the covering on the styling bar had separated from the bar itself, So i contacted AM about a warranty on the bar and was told there was NO warranty and being 5 months old i would think there should have been some leniency with a return but nope pretty much told i was stuck with it. Went to MMD's website and there is nothing about contacting them and because AM is their dealer i couldn't find a contact number for them.. so after talking to an upholstery shop they said to try and put a dab of adhesive on it spread it around and stick it all together again,which worked for all of 1 week now it's doing it again so i pulled the bar out of the car indefinately this time and was wondering if anyone else has had issues with the MMD Styling bar and or has or knows a way to contact them $401.99USD is a lot of money to just throw in the trash, i would like to give them a try and re-establish themselves..but i don't think this will happen
thanks i'll try that but if it's anything like American Muscle .... I might as well buy a new bar....my CAI gets water from the hood heat extractors as well AM told me the options were to buy a new hood or a new cold air intake but seeing as i just bought a new airaid unit i didn't think that was a viable option but those were my options
What I would do if you cant get it resolved with mmd or AM I would take it off and then take it to a shop that can fix it hopefully. It sucks that AM is not working with you and that's why they are starting to get a reputation. They should stand behind there sale or at least steer you in the right direction. I have only bought a few things from them and never had an issue but I have been reading some stuff and it's not flattering for them. Hope they get their **** together.
it's funny that they are all nice when placing the order and very helpful but if something happens it's the worst customer service you have ever seen... i know nobody will contact me till probably tuesday due to it being July 4th so i took the bar off the car and it now resides in my garage along with the Flowmaster Cat-back outlaw exhaust and tesla screen that i purchased for the car and never installed, had an offer on the car today so it might not be mine to complain about much longer but we'll see

I am very sorry to hear about this! Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with either returns or replacements. We are only a bulk supplier, so all sales, warranties, and returns
have to go through American Muscle. Because of this, we are not able to provide warranties, since we cannot honor them. All warranty offers are through American Muscle.

you can rest assured i will never order another MMD product for anything and american muscle i hope that place goes bankrupt
i will pay the little higher price and order through CJ Pony parts, The Shelby Store,or through Ford directly
I am not sure about this but it seems around the time cannibus was legalized all hell broke loose and i have ordered lots of parts as i have owned mustangs since 2004
i have never had as many issues as i have the past year.....well my rant is over i'll add the styling bar to the recycling pile for tomorrow....it can be someone else's headache...now i need to find
2 covers to replace the one's i had to modify to accommodate the bar...
i hope my troubles help some of you avoid the same issues and avoid certain products altogether cheaper is definitely NOT the way to go
Agreed I tried to reach out to them last week with a question about something and they still haven't gotten back to me. I know things can get busy be geez a week has past and I know it has been through a holiday but at least give a return email.
