Lowering the seats

I drive with my seats at the lowest possible position, but still find they are too high inside the car. Are there any aftermarket rail/brackets available for the power driver's seats to get them to sit a bit lower?

About the only option would be to see if the seat pans could be modified. That would involve cutting and welding of the floor with lots of stuff removed from the interior.

You could have some foam removed from the seat cushion also.

I am 6'3" and run the seat all the way down. This is very comfortable for me....

No, I'm just used to the seat being much lower in my cars.

I figured there'd have to be some modification like that to really get them lower. For me this is not a matter of height, it's a matter of having the lowest possible seating position while still being able to see. Sometimes I feel like I'm driving around in an SUV.

I am planning on aftermarket seats at some point, so I will likely just address it then.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
