Ipad Mini mount follow up

Ok, so the mount with the magnets got me thinking.
here is my version, again I'm cheep so here goes,

materials:
Rubbing Alcohol
Lint free cloth
small piece of 220 grit sandpaper
Gorilla Epoxy
scotch tape
2 - 6 packs of .47 in Super Magnets
Ipad Mini case with cover removed.

1) remove radio center console
2) locate 4 spots to mount magnets on back of center console ( there are already 4 circles in the plastic below the opening for the LED display)
3) clean the four spots with alcohol and wipe dry.
4) mix small amount of epoxy ( mix 20 seconds)
5) place epoxy on 4 spots on center console
6) place magnets on epoxy and press into place (magnets may want to jump to metal on radio head, put 4 more magnets on front to hold into place.) - ***it is very important to place magnets in such a way that the polarity of all 4 magnets are the same. (see pics)
7) let dry for 20 min
8) place ipad mini mount in desired location and secure with 4 more magnets.
9) turn center console assembly over and place face down to mark the location of magnets
10) mark rear of ipad mini case with pencil.
11) remove the case and sand the location for the magnets with some 220 sandpaper.
12) mixup some more gorilla Epoxy.
13) clean magnets with alcohol
14) glue down magnets making sure that the polarity is correct
15) magents may want to slide, tape in place for 2-3 min
16) place case with magnets on Center console before epoxy dries completely insuring alignment
17) Tape in place for final drying (2 hrs)
18) remove tape and re assemble.

you won't see anything on the console once you remove the outside magnets. road tested this morning. great for normal driving.

easy to remove and store. magnets are very strong. I still have a little bit of clean up to do on the ipad case and the front of the console. i will post a vid if I can figure out how to do that.

It's a good idea, maybe there is some what to cover the magnets on the iPad cover so they don't scratch the plastic without losing the strength?
