I have gather the info from a HVAC:
2010 = AG1Z-19980-C or G or L, BUT these are discontinued. Not sure why, but I would avoid those.
2011 = BG1Z-19980-D
2012 = CG1Z-19980-C
Congratulations. Does it matter what part number to use? It looks like a different part number that you got compared to the previous message we talked about the specific part numbers such as these below:
2010 = AG1Z-19980-C or G or L, BUT these are discontinued. Not sure why, but I would avoid those.
2011 = BG1Z-19980-D
2012 = CG1Z-19980-C

By the way, I cannot read the part number on your image. CG13-1?C?12-FB ?

I am not at home at the moment. But I’m not there yet. I already have the seat module. Now I need the blower motors and plugs for the modules. Only then will I know it works.

I'm confused now, what is the difference between the CG1Z-19980-C and CG13-18C612-FB ? I guess, it just another reference number which is similar to both units. I hope it works.

Hmm. Mine is from a 2011 SHO w heated and cooled seats. There must be different numbers based on options or model. If yours is new, I have also seen that Ford started consolidating part numbers for older models. I noticed that when trying to order interior door panels.

I too hope yours works. When I get time to put mine in I at least hope to see the seat lights all activate/light. Just that would serve as great motivation to figure it out.

Well, I hope it does work. Some of the online stores for the part number CG13-18C612-FB got me confused because I read in the description that it says it comes "with heated front seats and with cooled option". The other part number CG1Z-19980-C says it comes "with heated and with cooled front seats". I am not sure why they labeled in the description "Option" for the CG13-18C612-FB. I am shopping to look for that part number CG13-18C612-FB you two got now. I find it much easier now looking for that instead of the CG1Z-19980-C. Please let me know how it goes.

I put in the new HVAC module. I was putting in a clockspring I had modified for my paddle shifters. See thread:

https://themustangsource.com/forums/...4/#post7055627

Since I had stuff taken apart, I switched out the HVAC module. I did not do any other wiring. I will do that, but still need connectors to send the signals from the HVAC to the heat/cool seat module. I may salvage some connectors from old harnesses I have.

Anyway, when pushing the button for a heated seat or a cooled seat, all 3 indicator lights turn on and then shut off after a brief moment. Tells me I got the right module, but it also means that my regular heated element seats no longer work - which is fine, as the heated elements were pathetic anyway.

When looking up the part numbers for the connectors, I came across this:

Something to be aware of if you are going to do this.

The part numbers for the connectors that go into the cool/heat module are:

12 pin - WPT 928 or 3U2Z-14S411-ZMB
10 pin - WPT 1174 or AU2Z-14S411-BLA
16 pin - WPT 1165 or AU2Z-14S411-BGA

Here is the back of the cool/heat module:

Then you'll need the connectors that go to the blower motors. You'll need 4, as there are 4 blower motors (called TED).

WPT 961 or 3U2Z-14S411-RHB

That's all I have for now. I don't have any blower motors so this is as far as I go for now. Maybe someone else can take it from here until I can revisit this?

You'll notice I took out the MCN part of the diagram. I was wrong before. There is no other module involved in this and no signal needs to be interpreted. It will work just fine (I hope) with nothing else, as long as the wiring is right.

Came across a problem today.

With the new HVAC module, everything seems to work just fine, but I have an issue with the climate control blend doors. Hitting defrost makes air blow out the front vents. Hitting floor vents makes air blow out of the defrost etc ... so the which way the air blows does not match the selection chosen. Everything else seems ok.

I think this can be fixed by switching around the wires that go to the actual motors that open and close the blend doors. I'll look tonight.

So it is just a simple matter of switching wires around.
