Installed new front speakers
I apologize for the stupid question but I have a 2011 V6 base model with the standard radio, will these fit in my doors as well. According to crutchfield I have 5x7 or 6x8 in the doors. I just do not have the subs like the mach system.
Thanks

According to Crutchfields website, yes they will.
You just need a speaker wire harness adapter which probably can be found at a local audio shop or best buy. I believe the part number is Metra 72-5600. This will give you the ability to switch back to the factory speakers w/o cutting wires.
Installed my Boston S85s last night using the Metra 72-5600 harness. Completely plug and play.
I didn't remove the door latch cable, as I found it was easier to just lay a blanket down and rest the bottom of the panel on it.
Insanely easy mod. For less than $100 you can really improve on the factory stereo.
The S85's may not be the best out there, but I really like them so far.
I read reviews where people complained about a lack of bass. Not an issue at all with the Shaker 500 IMO.
I may end up doing the rears as well, even though they are certainly not needed.

Having just gone through the PITA to replace the rear speakers, I would suggest you concentrate your budget on the fronts, There's not near as much to gain with the rears.
Has anyone tried or considered the Infinity Kappa 682.9cf's? I've always been a big fan of the Infinity's!

I have a friend who works at BB in the mobile audio dept, maybe he can do it on the side with me and install them.
Although that's a 2010, it's pretty much the same. It's also pretty easy to scratch or mar your panels doing this. I just didn't hear enough difference to make it worth it. Certainly not like the difference in replacing the fronts, which was MUCH easier. In hindsight, I would spend more for better fronts.

Here are a couple pictures of the Shaker 500 speakers. Left side is the rear speaker and the right side is the door speaker.
Edit: What I meant by this was not that it has an extra set of speakers, rather it has replaced a pair of 5x8's with 5x8 coax speaker.
