Has anyone installed an ESCORT SMARTWIRE in a 2014 Mustang?

I was wondering how hard is it to run the wire up through the roof and have it come out by the mirror?

very easy, pop off the plastic piece above the pass or driver side window and run your wire up in there thru the headliner and out where the mirror is.
then put your plastic pieces back on and no wires will be seen anywhere.

i dont have one, i may have misunderstood the question - i thought the question was how to get wiring up thru the headliner and out by the mirror.

I was worried about the headliner not connecting back sung. I take the piece by the window are snap in?

I am thinking of mounting mine low maybe under the steering wheel. Have to look at more tonight. I will post install pictures when I do it.

you should not have to take out the headliner.

i installed a new rear view mirror with a 4.3" screen for my reverse camera and had run wiring from the passenger kick panel fuse box up along the pillar and under the front of the headliner down to where the mirror mounts and you would never of known it did not come this way from the factory.

I've got to do this eventually. I've got a Valentine one that I have clipped on to the passenger visor and just have the cord hanging down. It's the one thing I hate most but I don't want my detector on the dash due to the heat from sitting in the direct sunlight.

Radar will be my first mod when I get back to the states. Gotta have some insurance in case I get carried away and forget I'm not in Europe anymore.
