Door sill plate

Does anyone make a non illuminated door sill plate that doesn't cost $150?? Something that fits in that resessed area where it has "Mustang".

I got these on eBay and they are quite durable brushed aluminum. The letters are put on in a way that they aren't raised up or look like cheap stickers. They cost me 40 bucks.

Just search "Mustang sill" you will find all kinds of inserts. There's even Roush, Saleen, and Steeda. Non-illuminated and stick on with 3m tape.

I want the lighted ones but the price an instal are keeping from doing it.

I found them for 05-09 Mustangs but so far no 10-14. Would the 05-09 fit?

Pretty sure it's the same sill measurements... Can someone measure to be sure?

That's the same size as on my 2012. Wonder why they don't show these advertised for 05-09's as also fitting the newer ones as well.....

Thanks! I had a feeling the cars shared the same sill. The 05-09s totally look identical and recycled for the 10-14 years.

Does anyone know of a plate or cover for the sill portion that is exposed and painted? My car is Grabber Blue so I put some of that blue painter's tape on to keep it from getting scratched, but it is no long term solution. I am considering putting some of that clear bra plastic film over the paint to keep it from scratching and chipping if I cannot find something. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Atilla

I believe they're the same from 05-12.

The brushed Alum sills off my 08 GT Prem fit the base model 2012 6'er like they were made for it... and the lighted sills off of a 2012 GT Prem fit my 08 GT with no issue. Just had to wire them up.
