Dome light replacement

Can you possibly post pictures of the bulb itself as well as the packaging so we can get a better idea and help? If you can have a link posted of where it was purchased as well that would be great!

That's right, it can't. You just want it for sales reasons.
OP, you can take the clear lens off by taking a small screw driver and pushing down on the smallest tab from the inside of the housing. Most quality led's won't fit through the hole on the top of the housing.

easy tiger, I think Alex was only trying to help (giving him benefit of doubt, anyway).
Sandra, you should have 194-type bulbs that push straight in (if I recall) to the socket.
what type of bulb number is printed on the packaging you got?
(or maybe the problem is that your car is just rejecting pink bulbs)

They don't fit the socket or the housing? If they are tight in the housing you can clearance the housing a bit by removing a little bit of the plastic with a utility knife. I wouldn't risk taking the lens out for fear of breaking a tab. If they don't fit the socket then maybe you bought a bulb with the wrong base.

WOW, rage much?? Maybe we could see the problem and tell if it's the correct bulb by actually seeing it, maybe the part number is on the bulb, if not, it should certainly be on the packaging...
