Disable seat belt reminder on a 2012

I went by the manual in the book how to do it, and either A.) I just didn't do it correct or B.) I am missing something. Can anyone help me with this?

Your right, my laptop and book bag are a hassle, they hardly listen to me...ever. I tell Mr.Mac to buckle himself in and he just wont listen for the life of me, maybe SIRI can help? But on a serious note I am just a kid in school and when I am going to class I don't want to toss my stuff in the back seat and have to pull it back over and drag it across my seat backs, so it just rides next to me, hence the seatbelt chime.
