Dash Trim Kit

I am considering a real carbon fiber dash kit and wonder if anyone has tried the one from American Muscle or CarId. It appears the American Muscle is a thin vinyl version as opposed to the thicker polyurethane or epoxy pieces stuck on with 3M tape. While American Muscle claims to have great fit, I wonder if it is as good of quality as the polyurethane or epoxy. Thanks.

I cannot speak to the Carbon Fiber dash kits, but the wood kits from AM are pretty much standard from the manufacturer. I have one on 2015 and honestly, I was disappointed in the 'fake" wood. all of my previous kits were the real deal and looked great. I used pieces parts of the kit, but did use the large piece that covers the entire dash on the 15's. The wood in my 2011 was great. I would recommend you try a small kit to see what you think of the carbon fiber.

Thanks. The more I research, the vinyl kit sold by AM looks pretty flimsy. Looks like the polyurethane using 3M adhesive are the best quality. I am not sure how wood trim would look in my grey interior. Guess I could consider a grey burl wood instead of carbon fiber.
