clack, clack, clack...

Has anyone else experienced a loud clacking sound behind navigation upon start up? It stops after a few seconds. It's not yet reached 100% of the time, but constant enough to get annoying and worrisome.

If anyone has had a similar experience please share your insights.

it diverts air in the vents inside the dash (AC/heater). they get known to stick if the actuator goes bad. what I would do is to make sure the AC and heater are off when you shut the car off. if you hear the nose when you start the car, then its not the blender door. if you don't hear it and turn on the ac and hear the noise, then it's likely the blender door.

Hard drive is below the cup holders in the center console. Not where you described the sound

I've been getting that noise when I use the defroster. Next time I go to the dealership I gott get that fixed.

I had the very same problem when I turn on the AC. For now all I did was removed the HVAC Blend Actuator. From under the dashboard, I was able to remove one screw of the actuator. Than I had to remove the dashboard to get to the second screw of the actuator. (just for a moment of silence lol).... No more click..click..click...will purchase the replacement part later.

Um, no, no it isn't. At least, not in the '11-'12s.
