Changing Base Seats to Premium Leather

OK ,Next month im not just removing the skins here and changing them out ill be removing and replacing all the seats. Heres the story ....my brother has a 5.0 also and he has a Premium and i bought a base model both 2012's . Well hes decided to add a rear seat delete and racing seats so the benefactor of that is ...Me , Any how hes giving me his leather seats my question is his is a power seat in the front drivers side does anyone know if this will work in a base car , is the wiring harness there just buried ? thanks for any info in advance

I don't think the additional harness is there. you will just need to add fused power (like 20 or 30 amps). I would look at the wiring diagram for your car (you can find it online). not that big a deal. Are the new seats heated? that's where it may get a bit fun.

I dont think they are heated

Do the non power seats still have the adjustable lumbar? I know on the older sn95 the connectors were there on cars without power seats

I was just going to post about this! Has anyone swapped out the base cloth seats for powered leather seats and if so, what type of additional wiring was needed to make them work? I don't want to ride around with my seat in a fixed position after installing lol.
