Brushed Billet Bezel for 2014 Auto

Hi,

I've been looking for a billet replacement for for my car but I can't find anybody out there who makes it. I'm not a fan of chrome and I really don't like fake chrome.

Anybody know of a place that has a replacement bezel for a 2014?

Thanks

That would help I guess.

The chrome around the shift.

Try Silverhorse racing I've purchased brush billet products from them and I'm very pleased with the quality. All their billet products are made in house not overseas.

You could also matte clear plastidip over your stock pieces - it will give them a satin silver finish. Just a cheap, but good looking alternative for you. I plan to do this to mine when it comes in. I also hate the chrome.

Is that bezel even removable? I took the center console out and it looked like that chrome bezel was riveted to the main console piece. I think a replacement would have to be glued in place, or maybe grind down the rivet heads then tap the remaining shaft for a small screw or something.

Either way, it didn't look easily removable to me, none of the chrome trim does. Which is a shame, as I really wanted to have that stuff hydrodipped.

Hmm I can't say since I don't have my car yet. But if that's true...

I tried removing the bezels around the air vents and couldn't remove them, I was about to break them. Maybe with some proper trim tools they can come off, but they are REALLY on there and don't appear to be able to be removed.

I took a good, long look at the shifter bezel and I really don't see how it can be removed without damaging anything. It has several plastic rivets holding it in place, those would have to be ground down for removal. I'm sure with the proper adhesive it can be glued back in place, but it's certainly a permanent modification.

I tried removing the panels the air vents are attached to, but couldn't figure out how and didn't feel like seeing if there was a tutorial for it. I imagine they are attached in a similar matter. Doing anything to those will probably require removing much of the dash.

The bezels around the gauges do appear to just pop off, though. I'm thinking of putting vinyl on all the chrome bezels, but I'm not sure how well it will stay since you can't tuck it under.

That might explain why I can't find one. Oh well maybe I'll try the dip idea.

I want to remove the chrome door handles too. AM sells black ones that look really nice but it adds up in cost and I really don't feel like pulling a brand new door apart.

I wanted to do the door handles too. I was looking into getting the OEM GT500 handles and speaker grilles (maybe even the rest of the GT500 pieces too, since they're satin silver). I was going to do the handles and speaker grilles when I get around to my audio install.

Check eBay. I've gotten a lot of custom billet parts there or...

Piratemfg.com
UPRproducts.com

Modifymystang: seller on eBay

I started a thread about adding billet to the interior. There's a lot of accent pieces to liven up the interior.

This video answers the question about removal. Looks like I found my first plastidip victim.

They must have changed the shifter bezel in 2014 if you are saying it is rivited on. In my 2013 I can lift it straight up and off without any issues. It pops off if you lift up on the center console lid to take it off as well. Just has four long legs in each corner that snap in under the center console top to hold it in place. Was the same on my 06 as well..
