Base GT doesn't have an iPod adapter does it?

Question Base GT doesn't have an iPod adapter does it?
Just like the topic says, I just wanted to know if it was possible to use the Base GT radio with an iPod adapter like with the Shaker 500 system.

Doubt it. I believe it ties into the same box as Sirius, which you don't have. I haven't heard of any kind of Aux inputs on the ACM (audio control module).

I believe it has a AUX in, headphone jack input, but no direct iPod connect.

I think this is the reason there should be a medium or options between Base and Premium.

I don't believe the base car has any input jack.

I did find an add-on SYNC kit for 2009's so hopefully the will offer this for later models too.

They can't make everyone happy. If you want bare bones you go base. If you want the frills you get a premium.

Right, but if you only want some frills, you should be able to choose a little bit. Oh well, not a huge deal.
