anyone that has changed their cloth to leather...

Need some help.
This is on a convertible. Im not sure if it applies to coupes. But, I am trying to get the rear seat upper recovered. I figured out how to take out the head rests. But there is a black plastic hook (for lack of a better word just on the back side of the upper seat on both sides. I don't know if this is suppose to be an anchor or something. they don't seem to want to unscrew. Do they pop out.

They are anchors for the convertible top boot.

How much did your leather cost? Did you do it yourself?

I found it on ebay for $350. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a stain on the passenger seat until I put them in. So got lucky with the help of another forum member and found another replacement for $100. So all together $450.
I did the install in a weekend. Took my time. Back seats are easier, Fronts are a little more time consuming. Just used the motorz youtube video on for replacement of mustang leather as a guide for a 2010. A few things were a little different.

That is a good price. I'll have to keep an eye out for a deal like that.
