Anybody with a '10+ who's switched to an aftermarket HU used a PAC module to retain steering wheel controls?

I'm thinking about buying a '10 GT500 steering wheel for my '07 GT with a Pioneer AVIC, and want to make sure it'll work. The kit says on PACs site it'll work for a '10 but just thought I'd ask first..
