Airbag Decal Covers

Airbag Decal Covers
Hey Guys,
One thing that has always been kind of annoying since I got my Mustang were the hideous Airbag Warning Decal's. I had them on my 1992 Mustang, but you had to pull the visor down to see them. Now, they put them right in plain sight and it looks a bit ridiculous.
Has anyone tried these?
I'm considering just getting a set because it can't be worse than the warning labels.

The labels are not that easy to take off 100% cleanly, but it can be done (according to others). I have only done one so far (had car for <3 weeks), on the passenger side, because that's the one I can see... I'd say I got it 98% cleanly off, you have to look for it to know it was there. Why I'm mentioning this is IMO 98% "clean" is at least as good-looking as those felt patches are, you still have something that obviously "doesn't belong" there. If you fail at removal, or give up lol, you can still use the patches, this time as a real patch.
That said, I was kind of astonished when I got my car that it was intended that these patches NOT be removed. You'd think they'd make a tiny effort to make them look more integrated/less tacky, some others are.

I recommend nothing. Just saying that they've probably improved the durability of the visor material in the last 13 years, at least wrt doing this. If I can get one off in the cold, from the awkward work position, somebody more coordinated can probably do better.
FWIW I used fingernails to start, a small plastic scraper, duct tape (to pick adhesive bits off the visor material), then finally a *tiny* bit of 99% isopropyl alcohol, and an even smaller amount of GooGone. Probably only need one of those "solvents", but I used the alcohol first and the GG might have been a bit better than the alcohol, unless the alcohol loosened things up first. Then some hot water to clean up. Yes it's a royal pain, that's why I only did one. And after all that, it didn't even slightly damage the visor material. Many people say to use heat (hairdryer) on the labels first so you get most of the adhesive backing that way, but I didn't since I read about that afterwards lol...
