You really have no imagination do you? Think outside the box. If you're asking for help, it might behoove you to not shoot down every suggestion that is thrown your way. You're clearly in over your head, and honestly a Mustang forum isn't the best place for audio advice. Yes, some here have done their own systems, but you really should head over to another site like caraudio.com/forum and read up on some basics.

I just added a small amp and equalizer and it sounds good enough for me.

could you provide the part brand/part numbers for what you got? In the end, I'm just looking to make the car sound like any other standard stereo. My 2003 Malibu, 2006 Elantra and friend's 2010 Silverado sounded better.

I changed out all four speakers, ran new speaker wire from the small clarion amp. I added a Clarion eq in between the amp andhead unit. I used a PAC-Audio AOEM-FRD24 wire harness to convert to RCA connections.

This is where I mounted the amp

EQ is hidden underneath the govebox but still accessible.

You should be able to see them in the pics I added. The install was time consuming but worth it. It's not a super great sound, but it's good enough for me.

Big decisions to think about...
It's not that ugly...

If this is all a lot to take in right now, go to the audio forums like laserred said. I'd also start w/ Crutchfield and go through their tutorials and whatnot. They've got a lot of good info to get you started. Call/Email their advisors, they're happy to help, and there's no pressure to buy from them.
