Check the plug that is all the way near the top of the dash on the passenger side (almost near sun sensor) The male plug will be part of the dash harness. I missed this first time around. Its way up there. Had to take out the air bag again. If you have small hands, you may be able to reach it just by taking off the glove box.

OK i found a guy that has everything from a 2012 gt500. I want to put it into my 2014 GT Premium with sync and single climate control. He has the wiring, screen, camera, amps, pcm and i think everything else. how long will this take to do this swap? is there anything i need to purchase or not forgot to get from him?
Thanks

Check the list provided at the beginning of this thread for what you need. This could take half a day or a whole weekend, depending on whether you encounter problems.

Cheers

Has anybody compared the harnesses from the 11's and 12's? Just picked up a complete setup from a 12 and wondering what the difference is between the br3z and cr3z harnesses actually is? Just wondering if it will work in my 11 with a harness from a 12 before I go drop another 300

I think the 11 harness should be fine. Sometimes they give these harnesses a new part number for insignificant reasons.

I am not aware of any wiring difference between 11 and 12. You could try.

Thanks to this write up I was able to complete the install this past weekend. All that is left is an aftermarket amp install as I have a 2011. Hopefully the weather holds out long enough for me to get to the stereo shop

Ok. A pile of snow in SD has got me stuck in my garage trying to wire this by myself with little success What is everyone using to wire in the aftermarket amp? I have the pac module and can only get RR and RF speakers to work which is weird because according to the wiring harness they should be the front two channels. Even switching the wires I can't get sound out of the drivers side speakers. Is there a factory amp plug or something I am missing that should be unplugged?

I did cut into the existing wires on the right hand side and wired it up to the speaker wires using an Alpine Amp.
Now that I did my 2014 engine swap I am using the stock 2013+ amp on the left hand side of the dash. Of course that means another new dash harness

What wires did you tap into? At this point I don't care if I hack into the factory harness I just want to make it work.

I had the same issue I ended up putting Ina LC2I line out converter. I sent the signal to my sound stream mini amp and back to the second plug of the Factory amp wire harness. I only used front left and front right for signal. But of the amp powering all for. You will loose the fading capability.

Break

As far as the defrost is there a weight up on that?

Does anyone have extra parts? I'm looking for a face plate, some way to fit a mic, and steering wheel buttons. I have a 2014 GT.

I wonder if this is now a dead thread. But most parts are in and installed. Does anyone know if the GPS antenna is the one used for navigation or do I need to get the antenna splinter. Reason I ask is my GPS antenna doesn't plug into the back of the radio. So right no I don't have GPS or time.

Does anyone know of an alternate display (from a different model) I have everything now except the display. Have been checking Ebay and they are going for around $400.
Thanks in advance

Pretty sure there isn't, but LKQ online seems to have 3 for 250, 250, and 300, so you might want to look there. That's probably as cheap as you'll find it unless you get a bundle and sell the rest off (and even then it probably wouldn't be any cheaper.)

No it's not. It's only valid for 2010-2012. The 2013's+ have an amp at the drivers side kick panel that does the woofers plus the speakers.
They basically consolidated the woofer and speaker Amp into one.

Function of antennae Splitter?

Thanks I found a screen. Ok so I'm off this week and have a majority of the components.
I have everything except P/N AR3Z10E928A Antennae Splitter and P/N AR3Z-10E929-A.
The radio is removed from a 2013 and I dont have a factory amp. After Christmas I plan on running a aftermarket amp.
My Question is with these 3 parts missing will the radio still work? Obviously I won't have sound. I am mainly concerned about having heat as I drive less than 5 miles to and from work and can do without a radio.
Thanks
