I will definitely be doing the windshield when I get back to the states. I live in South Carolina so it's a necessity to have your windows tinted. That southern summer sun will beat you down in a hurry.

In northern states with cooler climates the 3M Carbon would be an excellent choice. If you're in the south where the summer sun can make the inside of a car baking hot in minutes, you may want to look at an IR reflecting tint like the 3M Crystalline, Wincos, or Huper Optik. They cost a LOT more, but the high IR and UV reflectivity makes a HUGE difference on how cool your car feels on hot summer days, and can help prevent sun bleaching and sun damage to interior parts.
As for myself, I've got 35% on the door windows and 20% on the rest of the car. Wincos tint.

I've got 35 on the sides and back on mine. I never had a car with an auto dimming rear view mirror before. I still find myself looking for the old day/night flip. I never saw how well the auto dim worked without the tint, so I can't tell if the tint makes a difference in how well that feature works.
