Window Tinting
In New York, you can't put any tint on drivers or passengers windows.
Reason being is that Any tint of Any shade will take it over the legal limit.
I know because I was pulled over for 35% and trooper pulled out the scan tool over window to show me. When I asked what was legal, he said factory tint is only 5%.from the limit. Another words I'd have to find tint over 90%.and at that point it's not worth it.
Did it stop me? Of coarse not I have 30% on them now. LoL

Hit then with the "sorry officer I just moved, it's on my list to correct to this states likings" for the first time you get pulled over. See how long it takes. May never happen. I still you use "sorry officer my plate isn't on because its brand new and I plan on getting a bracket to not drill my car" move. Works
One thing to remember, is that anytime you do get stopped, do the officer the courtesy of having the window fully down before he approaches the car. Unless they were only stopping you for your tint, if the window is down, its probably the last thing on their mind. Being able to see inside as they come up to your car will lower their stress level greatly, and may well set the tone for the stop. They have a tough job and most would appreciate anything we do to make it a bit easier.

stop breaking the law!!! LOL
Lol really mister 30% tint?? And the sad part is my old Mustang's plates were registered to the local PD. I still got hassled. It's called being young in a red loud Mustang - especially in the Bay Area, nothing I can do about it.
Haha miscommunication there. I meant ingot silver and a 10-14 body style. That generation. My bad kind of a confusing post I apologize. You have a good looking car man I like the tint. It's too dark for me though I live in a very rural area so nighttime visibility is important for me.
