Window Tint Question
Window Tint Question
Curious how this works for cars in which the windows roll down a quarter inch when the door is opened.
When they tint, do they open the door so it drops a quarter inch, roll the window all the way back up, then tint, and not worry about the tint getting scrunched up on the bottom 1/4" of the window every time you get in and out of the car until it cures? Does that 1/4" of up and down not seem to be a big deal? I ask because they of course couldn't tint the windows in the 1/4" down position, then you'd have a 1/4" strip of untinted window at the bottom.

The window can be triggered to completely roll up while the door is open. Take a screwdriver, and rotate the lock mechanism in the door.
You just gotta remember to reset the lock and avoid slamming the lock on the latch.
