Exclamation What is this part?

I have searched high and low for the name of this part. Anyway its broke and really have no idea how. I think I bought it like that but finally noticed it.

That would be the air deflector which is attached to the entire shield under the car.

Do you mean the deflector or the chin spoiler strip. The air deflector is for dynamics and also keeps crap from flying up into your chassis or engine bottom.

My guess is the strip. If it was the deflector you would of heard something hit the car.

Yeah its the strip. It's coming off the deflector. Do I need the strip? It looks like a money making part for Ford honestly.

I left it off for a couple weeks before I cut out the holes for my intercooler piping. Didn't notice any ill effects.
