Yikes, that's not right at all. I wouldn't call that very functional

it's a euro light. turn signals must be amber in european countries. the car isn't coded for them because when you hit the brakes the outter most now orange ones shouldn't light up.

Yep. Figured its euro as I've seen other euro tail lights with amber colors. My hope is to get inside to locate the amber bulbs and replace with red bulbs. But, I found a guy who might be able to rewire or splice wiring for sequential effect.

In the meantime, the body shop is working on smoothing out the gap between the lower part of '13 tail light and the top part of the bumper. Apparently, the '11 tail lights have a subtle 'V' shape to them.

They are led arrays, not bulbs. The wiring is also done differently. You may need to ditch them or go with the euro wiring

leds are tough i'm sure there is a module that requires reprogramming. i think you're better off sourcing us spec lights.

Here's some of the gap between lower tail lights and top bumper.

There seems to be too much gap between the deck lid and the bumper cover too.
Whats up with that?

I think it might be the light and angle perhaps. The trunk/bumper fitment is right. I'll check later again on opening/closing trunk lid latch.

Wish they were for US though. Beautiful I think on a silver, gray or white stang. Like shiny candy.

I got mine on eBay. And I've searched everywhere for another one as point of reference for harness, modules and basically anyone who knows how to make it work here in US. No luck. This tail light doesn't seem to exist or I have the only one made. Maybe I have a prototype tail light... Don't know for sure. If anyone has a set, I would love input and direction. As of right now, the autoshop got the sequential blinkers to work, but its backwards. As for the gap between tail light and bumper... It's filled in with bondo, sanded and shaped. Then painted in glossy black to match facade. To hide the gap further, the decklid was painted glossy black to match.
