For the guys that bought 2013 taillights, how much did you wind up paying for them?

 

No one?! I'm thinking of picking up a set. My car is black so hoping the gap won't look that bad. If not I could sell them.

 

It's dang near unnoticeable on black & white. Go for it

 

From what I have read, IIRC new they are about 900 and I think you can get them used for about 500 if you search for a while.

I paid $625 for a used set of 2013 taillights....When they showed up they were 2012 lights. Called the seller, b!tched and complained and got them to give me a return authorization. I told them to send me the right lights...When I got the new lights in they were the right ones 2013 but were NEW!!

 

I was waiting for your reply! I think this guy just snaked me in this deal we had. Messed up the deal, what a knucklehead, you would think he was running a huge corporation. He's selling 4 items lol

 

Wow. $625 for brand new '13 tail lights... **** great deal. I got a used one on eBay for $550 and they're imported from outside US. Saved money by picking it up from seller. Not sure where, but they light up red and amber.

 

Um...hate to burst your bubble here, but those are not gonna work on a N. American '10-'12 car. The wire connectors are a 6 pin and you need a 10 pin....trust me even if you get new wire connectors the wires are crossed up somewhere and the lights will not flash correctly. It has been tried!

Thanks for the update stanglife. It is a bit of a challenge. The tail lights came with a 10 and not the 6 that the seller took off a 13gt. I plugged them in and they are functional. Unfortunately, when I hit the turn signals, the lights flash, but doesn't do the sequential lights. When you hit the brakes or in park, all the lights come on, but the outer left/right lights are amber. When you back up, the middle inner lights come on white. I'm researching to see if I can reprogram it to function like the US ones. For now, I'm very happy with how they look on my stang.
