For a moment I thought I was in a "Three Stooges" thread...

 

Well after i order my 300A GT i when to alot of mustang forums to see what people were doing with there cars as far as stripes and stuff to see what i like and did not like . I still wanted to be true to the GT name and try not to be a clone of shelby here what i came up with .

 

Silver stripes like on the Shelby GT from a few years ago. Always thought they looked great.

 

I plan on getting the GT500 spoiler, and maybe the rims (I do love those rims ). Does that make me a poseur? Just asking cuz if stripes makes you look like a poseur, then it looks like ill be a poseur with the spoiler and rims idea.

 

In the Trans Am world, those who install a WS.6 hood and wheels would put a WS.7 emblem on the back to let fellow enthusiasts know that it wasn't a real WS.6.

Perhaps you could call it an ST500 (the ST was a lesser version of the Celica GT).

 

As I said, do whatever you want, it's your car.

The Shelby spoiler isn't much different than the spoiler available with the rear view camera. The rims; there are so many different stock rims and aftermarket rims, generally nobody notices what you have unless they look like crap.

But as far as the stripes go, that's my opinion, and I'm stickin' to it. If that is unsatisfactory feel free to GFY.

 

This kind of misinformation could lead someone to make a costly mistake. The GT500 spoiler is vastly different in design and size than the GT with backup camera. The backup camera has nearly no overhang - which is the reason the GT500 wing is so popular.

There is some overhang. Obviously the Shelby is more. I've seen all three in person, the RVC spoiler is kinda in between.

As far as "misinformation being costly" if you're buying something sight unseen you're an idiot and deserve for someone to take your money. Like people that buy a base Mustang and are surprised that it doesn't have MyColor. Do some research fer petes sake.
