Here is my latest mod. Didn't too much care for the GT badge. Now some folks going to think I have the V-6 with 5.0 badges. That has happened before when I removed the GT from my '05 and replaced it with the tri-bar. A guy argued with me that it wasn't a GT. Finally I said yea you are right, I changed the engine and put these GT badges (which was later replaced by tri-bar badges) on it and forgot about the one on the back. He was good with that answer, go figure.

I always thought that logo was nicer looking too. I thought about doing the same, but I'm curious when someone will make one with the 5.0 logo in it.
That would be better than the GT logo.

I know some people won't agree with me but I wouldn't mind a Cobra faux gas cap. Just like this one except take off the words Shelby and GT00.

I mean you could get them for the 1st gen S197 why not the 2nd gen.

 

While I probably wouldn't do it, I also wouldn't have a problem with it. It's your car. I had a 66 fast back which I had made into a gt350 look-a-like. So I guess I've very situational about these things.

I'd like to remove the faux gas cap altogether and put on a larger version of the tri-bar/pony logo... does anyone make a decal or badge like that?

I have seen a car where the owner used the pony grill-badge on the back, I'd like that with the tri-bar behind it...

The tri-bar is on my wheel center-caps (2011 GT 19" nickel option wheels).
