So I ordered new wheels, xxr 962 staggered 18x8.5 18x9.5
I'm looking to get a 255/40 on the front and a 285/40 on the rear. What would u guys recommend as far as which brand and model type to go with

 

Not that anyone cares but i went with nitto nt555 285/40/18 rears and 255/40/18 fronts, also purchased American muscle SR springs 1.5" drop front and back, kyb gr-2 struts and shocks. Waiting for everything to come in so I can install.

 

NT555s are a great tire.

 

Mickey Thompson street comps they got good reviews. And reasonable price

 

Thanks guys I appreciate it, changed plans the wheels are on back order till god knows when so I bought wheel replicas deep dish bullits in anthracite 18x9 & 18x10. How wide of a tire can I go on a 10" wide rim? Also anyone running SR springs with stock struts n shocks? How is working for you?

i just bought the sve drift wheels. 18x9 and 18x10. im still looking for some tires. i really want a pair of 285/40/18 nt555 but i want em cheap lol. 245/40/18 for the front.. ill update you when and if i get em!!

 

Cool, I hate that they aren't cheap, I wanted sumitomos htrz 2 but no one around my area can get him

 

You will be glad that you couldn't get the sumo's.! They are not a quality tire if you want any kind of traction. The 555's are much better.

Got the rear wheel mounted! I'm excited to mount the fronts on Monday when the tires come in. I'm loving it already!
