Use plasti dip. One light coat will make it really dark, and still lets light through!

Thanks guys!

As for the Plasti-Dip idea ... I want the lenses to be shiny when done, and Plasti-Dip won't give those results since it doesn't dry glossy

You can stoll Dip and get shiny. Just lay the coats on a lil thicker i think. Or apply a glossy clear coat spray

Plasti-Dip makes a clear coat Dip that works the same way as the normal dip does.

I used the VHT nightshade and clear on my fogs. They turned out amazing. I had intentions of hiding them behind the grille but never have gotten around to it. But it's not reversible like plastidip would be

This looks great. I tinted my side markers using the VHT with no issues. I also tinted the two 9" long reflectors on the bottom rear. They still reflect but don't pop on the back of the car during the day. I might tint the rear light now too so it will match the stock rear light panel.
