the first picture is Classic Design Concepts Weekend Warrior Concept. (later the RTR Gumball car)

Those wheels were powdercoated a much lighter silver at the very start and that picture is when they were LIGHT grey not the correct color.

Evidently they don't have as much offset only 33mm. Which means wide tires will rub.

From looking at Stinger1982’s pics I can’t believe that they don't rub at 33mm of offset. The rears look like they are at a minimum even with the fenders if not sticking out a bit. They look cool though!

I have a huge tire on there. A normal 275 clears no problem in the back.
I run a 275 on the front (RTR says run a 255)
I am only posting my pictures so people know what the finish looks like

Do the rears rub in a corner when the suspension is loaded up?

in a corner no, never.

if I put two people back there and hit a large compression bump, a little.

Now I used a Tire the RTR people said would be TIGHT or might cause interferance. That was my call. So you cant fault the wheels for that.
