Stripe kit suggestions requested

Thinking about dual stripes, 6" - 8". I'm considering doing it myself.

I've checked the usual suspect vendors here, but am wondering if you guys know of any other suppliers that specialize in DIY kits that are of good quality.

Thanks

Stripe pics requested

Hi guys

I'm considering making an attempt at a stripe installation and am looking for pics of dual 8" stripes only. I have rear bumper sensors and there's 19.5" of space between them.

I really don't want to deal with cutting holes in the stripes to accomodate the sensors. 8" stripes will give me 17.5" of play area with a 1.5" gap.

Black convertibles with silver stripes would be ideal, but I'd like to look at anything you folks might be able to provide, ragtops or otherwise.

Thanks for your help.

I purchased a package from Big Worm Graphics two years ago for my 2014 GT and they are really holding up well. When you order you specify which rear spoiler you have and whether or not you have a back u camera (mine does) and they cut them accordingly. I had a lady that specializes in vinyl stripe installations help me (more like I helped her) with the install. She was impressed with the quality of my package (sorry I couldn't resist). If you purchase these online you won't be disappointed.

Oh I forgot. You also specify whether or not you have the back up sensors and the stripe has a cutout for these. It looks sharp.

I ordered Shelby stripes and discovered they would cover the backup sensors. I couldn't think of a way to make them look good so I returned them for Lemans stripes. They are 18" wide and fit nicely between the sensors. I am itching to install them but found some corrosion on the trunk seams and am waiting to hear if my trunk will need repainting.
I think silver would look terrific on your black car.

I believe lemans stripes (dual stripe) is what Tom is after. Those are the ones on most of the shelbys.

I believe they're talking about the single wide stripe from the Super Snake.

I installed dual stripes on 2 cars and just bought a long universal stripe on ebay and cut each stripe to the length I needed. Just make sure it's a quality vinyl like 3m or oracle. I bought each kit for around 50 bucks each.

Yeah, brainfart. [/QUOTE]

That's Governor Christy line when asked about the bridge scandal.
Back on Topic....Black and Silver work very well together. Has anyone ever thought of going with Black and White stripes?

My stripes came from Big Worm Graphix as well (had them install, since they are local for me). 2+ years and still looking sharp, and excellent customer service!
