Snow wheels and tires for a 2011 GT
Well!!! Got the Bullitts fitted!!! They look awesome! Almost a waste for snow tires!!
One thing though... The wheels have TPMS installed and I got the remote too. However, the alert didn't go off! Is that pretty strange? No chime, no warning lights...
Is it possible that Ford Japan has TPMS turned off?

OP - it'll probably go off soon. I believe it takes up to 50 miles for it to recognize.
This video helps if you haven't done it before.

Come to think of it my wheels now are from a 2010 Roush with their OEM sensors so I assume all 2010 up should work without the tool.

Hytek, great video! Thanks!
Actually, thanks to everybody!!
I really appreciate everyone's help!
I didn't drive that far last night, so maybe I'll still need to reset. I'll keep the remote in my car for a while, just in case.
Thanks again!

I think I've said it before but I'll say it again... I'm totally jealous. I wish I was in Japan with a 5.0!!!
I've probably said it before too, but I'm proud to drive a Mustang in Japan. It's a little piece of home!
You might be interested in my Minkara blog. Minkara is like Facebook for cars. It's all in Japanese, but I have some cool pictures of muscle car events in there too! Here is the link:

I just did some number crunching today, the 18" wheel/tire package is about $350 cheaper. I did SVT wheels with LM-60 Blizzaks for the 18" set, and black Brembo wheels with Pirelli Sottozeros for the 19" package. I'll probably order mine next week.
I drove to Osaka yesterday, about 80 miles each way. Still no warning light for TPMS.
I might just try the training procedure to see if TPMS is even turned on in Japan. maybe the wheels were already set before arrival?

). This is my second winter with them, and I never received a warning light from day one. I thought they were trained at the time the tires were installed. You can always e-mail Tire Rack and ask them. They have been very responsive whenever I had a question.
