These scoops on google and liked the they looked. They are around 200 bucks on most websites. Well I got luck and won them on ebay for 45 bucks. The pictures are misleading and they are flush with the body all the way around. Should I paint the simulated vent hole black like the pic or cut it out.

My fear is if I cut it out that the air pressure will rip them off my car.

If they are open to the front, the air pressure can build inside and take them off. That happened to a '00 GT we had when the hood scoop was open in the front with no other opening. Looks like yours would need a rear opening. Of course, this is just my experience. Might ask your body shop.

Bodyshop said the same so the openings* will be flat black
