Small Plasti Dip Mod
I've always been a fan of the CS valance because it removed that stripe of color across the bottom of the GT Valance. Well, when I heard about plasti dip I thought I'd give it a shot at covering up that stripe of color. Here's some shot of the process and the results. I like how it turned out. Could have done a cleaner job, but it was my first time with Plasti Dip

Missed some edges I had to clean up after.

What guys? No confidence?! I mocked it up in photoshop before I did it so I felt confident it would look good. Since the PlastiDip is more of a matte finish, it blends in perfectly with the other black plastic.
@DaSFGiants4Life - They are black versions of the brembo package wheels. Ford calls them the 'Black Track Pack' wheels. I got them from LateModelResto.
Next up might be the horse in the grill, but we'll see.
Thanks for the compliments!

Dang that looks nice! Its always those little touches that set a cars looks off, and you hit that nail right on the head.
Now im really stuck between the saleen bumper/grille and the stock gt front fascia.

Are you planning on removing the emblem or newspapering the entire rear of the car?

Thanks everyone!
@CCTking - I'd still have to go with the Saleen front if money wasn't an issue
@Studly_Studright - I really like the look of those pasti dip'd. I just don't know if I would want to cover the whole thing or leave the GT in silver.
@2012GTCS - It is ****-near perfect. Was definitely lucky in that aspect. We'll see how the color holds up to the sun and elements over time.
If you plan on doing this, I'd recommend lifting the front end some how. I did this in the gutter you see in the picture laying on my backside. Was definitely not the easiest, but it did work for my limited resources.

I want to do my faux gas cap with Plastidip. I was thinking it would be better to remove it and spray that way as opposed to newspapering the whole
Rear.
Do you think it'll be a pain to get back straight or If there will be any sticking problems once it's removed?! Anything not fitting perfect will annoy the crap outta me lol
