Nice work. Looks better with the stock hood IMO

That's good enough for me. Looks great with all the other stock parts.

So...anyone want a Saleen grille?

How much? I just bought one, but I think I can put this one to good use, too.

I agree. I think it looks cleaner with the stock hood and you save $1200 on not buying the saleen one.

I think the front is too low to be painted unless the skirts are matched. It's fine to have the skirts stock, but I would not do it with that particular bumper IMO. Looks a bit mismatched with just the front painted especially since the fascia does not have a "lip" shape at the bottom.

But definitely looks awesome with the stock hood!

I wonder how the GT500 rear would look with the sides painted and diffuser left black? Like a mini-diaper?

The Patriot GT500 already has that, and yes, it looks terrific. Unfortunately, the stock side skirts then look horrible.

Yeah you'd definitely have to do the entire deal.

Can't see pic

Personally, I have no plans of painting the sides or rear diffuser. I actually like the way the plastic looks, and would leave it as such. Judging by the second pic, it looks like the bumper and side skirts are even with each other, which was a bit of concern for me. This way, the body line flows from the side as well.

Judging by this profile pic, the Saleen side skirts sit lower than stock. I think the stock sides should be close to even with the saleen front.

Well I don't have it yet and I'm still not 100% convinced I'm going to do it. I need to search out paint costs to get a final number. PM me what you think is fair for the grille and badge and we'll go from there.

Hey Overboost, I see what you are saying with the Saleen kit too. I've been leaning Roush to replace my stock bumper due to damage. Everything else on my car will be stock so I want to make sure it looks good and I can add more later. I like the OEM grille so if I went Saleen I'd be selling mine too!
