Roush Front Bumper Cover Install Question...

Ok so all of my exterior parts are finally here. I have the Roush front bumper cover (w/fog lights) and splitter, Roush Grille, Roush Side Splitters and GT500 rear diffuser.

My question is, How difficult is it to install these parts? I have read through all of Roush's instructions and they seem clear but also seem very involved. I do consider myself to have mechanical ability but I have not done too much with exterior body parts. I also have the Heartthrob 3" after cat and GT500 mufflers to put on the car as well as a Barton Shifter and bracket. I have all day tomorrow to work on my car and I plan to install the exhaust, shifter and bracket first but installing these items does not worry me, just the exterior parts. Any advise or help is appreciated.

I don't think they have dealt with that before. Where did you get the parts from? If the parts came from a legit dealer and not from someone eBay it should be easy. I have heard from a couple of people on installing newer body kits and it went on without or only a little adjusting. You will be good. Post pics when you get it done please!

I worked 116hr last week, sorry I didn't get to your post sooner.

The front bumper, fogs and splitter go all together before you put it on the car, and it's easy to remove the bumper. Just take caution to not scratch you paint and have a soft surface to lay the bumpers on.

The grill is actually an insert. You chop up the factory grill to use it. I got the Saleen because its a whole new part, I dont have to modify my parts to make it work. Whole plastic piece > partial metal insert. The shroud of the roush is still plastic. Anyways, a dremel will do you good, instructions are pretty easy.

Side splitters are stupid easy, just follow the instructions, and have good side clearance, and watch jack placement. See panel clip remover comment.

Rear valance wasn't complicated, but there are a billion clips to remove. Do yourself a favor and have a panal clip remover handy, you'll be frustrated otherwise.

There you go.

Not really sure what you expect us to say. The installs have been covered here previously also with tips.

I did this install (front and rear fascias) recently, and I just read the instructions provided by ROUSH. They are extremely well done and show photos of every step. They even give you the tool list, which includes the panel clip remover that Digital mentioned above...

I just took my time, followed each step, used their shim as instructed, and was fnished in a couple of hours working at a relaxed pace. Only thing of note, which I read on here after searching for "GT500 diffuser", is that there are a couple extra clips on the rear piece that are not shown in the ROUSH photos.

Did you get your parts on? I also missed this thread some how. The only probablem I had was I didn't get the bumper tab into the slot thats under the headlight, which left a pretty good gap. Easy fix. Other wise it went pretty well.

I all the same mods you did to my Grabber Blue. i put the nose together before I installed it on the car. That actually took longer todo than putting the nose on the car. If i had another pair of hands it would have taken me less time. i did the nose my self in 2 hours. that two hours was taking the old nose off, putting the new nose on. i spent about 3 hours putting the new nose together in the living room (fog-lights/ Roush upper and lower billet grilles, front splitter). Side skirts are about an hour max. Rear valance was another hour or so.... again, I was doing this all on my own. So another pair of hands would cut that time down
