Any of you that have used them and purchased them have any feedback? Looking at picking up a set of dome lights, license plate lights, and reverse bulbs.

Also, what is the trunk bulb type we need?

 

Here are the bulbs I used. I went with all 5k bulbs which are perfectly white. 6k are cool blue.

 

Good stuff. I'll put together an order tomorrow with some bulbs.

 

I picked up a set of the dome light bulbs and license plate bulbs. I'll post reviews once I get them.

 

I had a set of recon LED lights that tripped out. Were in my reverse lights... One whole side went out. (2 of the 4) bought some 921x12 wedge lights over at superbrightleds.com. And it's been pretty good. They're not as bright as the stock version (nor were the recons), but they work well for me.

 

Not sure what the problem is with the license plate LED's. I got a set from hidguy.net, they worked fine for about 2 days then the right side went out, another day later the other went out. There must be some sort of current issue, do these need a resistor or something, or are they just low quality LED's. There has to be some out there that will work.

 

Follow the link I posted above. I got mine from superbrightleds nearly two years ago and they are still going strong.

what's so special about the recon's? I got all my leds from fleabay and replaced license plate, dome, and trunk lights for less than $20 total. that was months ago and all the lights still work fine and are bright.

 

The Recon's I got were complete trash. WAY too blue, and less light output than stock. I got mine from LethalPerformance.com, expensive, and worthless.

Should be much much better. Any they have some nice rotors too.

 

I have the Recons in right now on my dome lights and license plate lights. They're decent, but not great. I wouldn't pay full price for them.
